What the dashboard shows.
The food waste loop is on the dashboard now, and it updates as collections are recorded.
Collections and weight
How many food waste collections have been made, and how many kilograms were collected, over time.
Where the waste goes
For each business, how much went to Sizinda, to direct feed and to other destinations.
Carbon avoided
An estimate of the carbon dioxide (CO2), in kilograms, avoided by diverting this waste.
Businesses taking part
The number of hotels and lodges contributing, and how much each one contributes.

What we measure in each programme.
These are the indicators we track. The others will join the dashboard as the figures are collected.
Healthcare
People reached with HIV prevention and health education, psychosocial camps held, young people supported, and clinic and hospital support given. [Confirm]
Education
Children enrolled and attending early childhood classes (our Sizinda target is 90% attendance for 70 children), school-readiness assessments, health checks, teachers trained and classrooms improved.
Environment
Food waste collected, where it goes and the carbon avoided (all live on the dashboard), plus streets adopted, clean-ups held, produce grown and toilets built.
Social Services
Young people employed or trained on the farm and in sport, women in enterprise or savings groups, and households supported. [Confirm]

How we count.
Every collection is recorded: which business, how many kilograms and where the waste was taken. The dashboard adds these up as they come in, and we check the records against what we see in the field.
Carbon figures are calculated from the weight of waste, so treat them as estimates.
Where we work with Pristine Victoria Falls Society, we combine records so the dashboard shows the whole picture, not two partial ones.
